The work I have led across 17+ years.
The same capabilities applied across association management, higher education, Fortune 500 enterprise software, and agency work, for events of every size. Followed by the tools and ventures I built on my own.
Event portfolios of every size
Hundredsof events, from field programs to 60,000+ attendees
Small field events, campus programs, sales kickoffs, global multi city series, virtual and hybrid programs, flagship conferences of 25,000, and trade shows of 60,000+. I have run the technology for each of them, many of them year after year, and I scope every program to the size it needs to be.
Registration platforms, built and run
17+ yearsowning registration across every role
Four online registration systems launched for association trade shows. A university wide event request platform. A six year enterprise registration build. Hands on across RainFocus, Swoogo, Cvent, G2Planet, Amego, and ShowUp, with badging, check in, and mobile apps run through the same platforms.
Vendor selection, onboarding, and governance
17+ yearson the buying side of vendor decisions
I have sourced, evaluated, negotiated, onboarded, renewed, and replaced event technology vendors in every organization I have worked in. That includes serving as primary vendor liaison, running contract negotiations, leading privacy and accessibility reviews before a new vendor goes live, and governing enterprise platform agreements with usage reconciliation and overage control.
Event technology built to scale
100+events a year on one repeatable setup
Standards that let a team run more events without adding chaos. A technology kit that gave 100+ field events a year the same proven setup. A repeatable stack for a multi show touring program with lead capture into Salesforce. Guidelines and an intake process used by 100+ stakeholders, backed by training, office hours, and shared knowledge sites.
Platform migrations
Every layerregistration, reporting, and delivery
Moves between registration platforms, including a full migration off a legacy system followed by a six year rebuild. Reporting moved to a new analytics platform without losing the view leadership relied on. Each move planned so registrants, sales teams, and reporting kept running through the switch.
Digital and hybrid delivery
Live to digitalacross a global event portfolio
Led the shift from live to digital with preference based session recommendations and single sign on. Took a 3,500 person sales kickoff virtual. Product owner for a custom content platform, designed to support 80,000+ attendees, when no vendor met the requirement.
Data, attribution, and privacy
3 regionsAmericas, EMEA, and APAC including Japan
Connected registration and attendance to accounts and campaigns so leadership could see pipeline by event. Partnered with Security, Privacy, and regional Legal teams to build location based consent into registration and set retention rules for every connected system.
Leading event technology teams
11person organization directed today
From supervising two people, to leading a team of three, to managing direct reports and a support team, to directing an 11 person organization with offshore partners. Most recently I rebuilt that organization in six months, set platform strategy through a contract renewal, and secured approval for a multiyear platform investment with a revenue model.
15+ tools I saw the need for, designed, and built
15+tools in daily use
Nobody handed me a requirement. I saw where my team was losing hours, designed the solutions myself, and built 15+ connected tools and automations using AI assisted development, each with a secure back end. They took manual work off the team and gave leadership a live view of hours, budget, and capacity, covering tracking and follow up, dashboards, form driven content, and branded microsites delivered on tight timelines.
